Rail Replacement 21st February Part 2 Go-Ahead Companies

I can now bring you part 2 of my Rail Replacement Post this is expected to be a shorter one because I explained the Stations they served and the reason why they were operating in part 1.

This one features the Go-Ahead companies that provided replacement services last Sunday. Part 1 featured the smaller companies that provided the replacement services. There was a bit of London interest as well GAL provided an ADL Enviro400 for the Eastbourne to Hastings one. It shows London companies do it as well so not just the Non-London companies.

The Go-Ahead companies were:
Go- Ahead London
MetroBus
Brighton&Hove

My little Bus spottiing trip

Good Evening readers welcome to my newest blog post. I've been on my travels again for the first time in ages this time I was going to Lowestoft for a few days to see my Nan and Grandad. Well I didn't really spend that much time with them because I decided to go and see the Buses at the Bus Station which is really close to where they live.

I was really impressed with what I saw whilst I was there Bus wise a range of makes. The main operator there is First Eastern Counties. Whilst I was there I decided to go on some Buses as well. I went on a really bad Gemini on the X1 which was 37578 (AU58 EDJ) and a really nice President on the 1A which was 32209 (LT52 WTP). Lets go on to the pictures I took whilst I was there.
Volvo B9TL 37578 AU58 EDJ on the X1 this is one of 4 that is branded for the X1

Been on this a few times but here is Enviro400 33819 YX63 LKJ on the X1

B9TL 37576 AU58 EDC reversing into somewhere to have a little rest after completing the X1
I also managed to photograph one of the B7TL ALX400s in a special brown and cream livery.
B7TL 30888 W743 DWX on the X2

Another shot this time it was on the 99 shame the blind wasn't showing on this when I took the photo

Enviro400 33423 SN60 CAA on the X1

B7TL President 32212 LT52 WTV these Buses are slowly declining so I managed to get a photo of one while it is still around

X1 branded B9TL 37573 AU58 ECX on the X1

I'm watching you says this 30889

B9TL 37566 AU58 ECE on the limited stop X2

Enviro400 33821 YX63 LKL on the X1

One of my best photos from the trip is off Enviro200 45118 ST09 JPT

Suffolk Norse TransBus Enviro300 SN56 AYL on the 107

These are just 2 of the opeartors that run services in Lowestoft the third is Anglian Bus. First is the main operator there because they have the most services that run in Lowestoft the others have less services. I was also shocked that the wing mirror on the drivers side is really big.
