More fleet transfers for East Sussex

There has been quite a few transfers within Stagecoach South East recently. Buses being withdrawn from service and transfers from elsewhere within the divison. These transfers have been taking place on a Sunday as not as many Buses are needed they include:
DO - EE (27580/2)
EE-HS (15543)

I'm showing these below as there has been more transfers but they're Buses that I refuse to photograph.

After being at Dover for 2 years E300 27580 (GX58 GKN) is back at the garage it was new to here is 27580 on the 54

The white moustache Bus is also back after 2 years at Dover E300 27582 (GX58 GKP) picks up for a 1A
Now for a Bus that has left Eastbourne and has transferred to Hastings. Only recently it was working EE routes but not anymore. 15543 can now be working Hastings route like the 98/99, Hastings workings of the 2 and possibly Hastings workings of the MMC route 100/101/102 as well as Hastings locals.
At first I was confused when I saw this from a Bus. I was like Eastbourne don't do a 99 at this time into Eastbourne but what I saw was a Hastings blind up instead. So I went into the town centre just to get a photo Ex-Eastbourne 15543 (GN59 EWS) works the Wave 99.
All these transfers are happening way before the new MMCs for the Wave 99 enter service there will be more transfers then with most of the current allocation of 61 plate Scania E400s rumoured to be transferring to Herne Bay. I believe that unbranded Scanias many in which are older than the 99s allocation are filling in for the Wave 99 Scanias getting debranded and repainted.

Buses in the seasons

One minute the weather is warm the next it's cold brrrrrr. But that doesn't stop the Buses coming out to do good service whatever the weather. I have a photo taken from each season. The Winter one I would class as a winter one due to the short days which the Bus was showing when photographed.

Here is a section of photos:

Spring is the season for Wave Scania 15771 as it picks up for a 56 the Bus has since lost branding

Summer is when full sun photos are a must here we have Scania 28606 before another 51 journey

Looks like Autumn will have to wait until last due to the change of photo. Now onto Winter Wave Scania 15775 picks up for a 99 service. The Bus is rumoured to be transferring to EE when the new Wave 99s enter service.

In my top 3 of Euro 4 ADL E300s we have my 3rd place 27571 (GX58 GKA) before working a 54. The Bus is good but it isn't as good as my top 2 27576 and 27574.
Who knows what my next post might be however, there might not be another 1 for sometime as i'm going to be going on about transfers and new arrivals entering service sometime before the New Year.

E300s on Loops and E200s on 1/1As

Allocations have been rather unusual this week down here in Sussex it has mainly occurred on local routes Loop and 1/1A. What we have here is the old Loop allocation on the 1/1A and the current 1/1A allocation on the Loop. I would count these as rare workings, however, they have appeared on the routes quite a bit this past week.

The 1/1As which I captured as odd workings:
36906
36903
Loops: 27576

Ex Loop E200 36906 picks up for a 1 service

Ex Loop 36903 picks up for a 1 service
There has been a large portion of E300s appearing on the Loop route recently some of which were the 58 plate ones! The E300s (ADL and Scania) that I've seen on it this week are: 28609, 27574, 28608, 28610, 28606, 27576, 27571 and 27572. There was a few other appearances of E300s on the route they might have been some of the ones I've already listed or ones I haven't listed. This was because some of the Loops normal allocation Doubles are absent so these have been covering for it this week there was some E200s covering for Doubles on it last week

27576 picks up for a Loop

Routes 5/5A nearly 3 months on

It is approaching the 3 month anniversary of new routes 5 and 5A which were formed since the 51 was cut back to the town centre. I remember bringing a post on it when it started featuring some of the Buses to work the routes in the first 2 weeks. Here is some photos from August this year all the way through to recently. Not all photos are featured I've selected the ones I felt were my best photos of the route.
Scania 28609 (GN61 EVP) picks up for a round of route 5

One of my very first photos sees former Loop branded E200 36908 (GN13 HHZ) on a 5A

E200 36900 (GN13 HHR) picks up for a 5A in its last day of service for Eastbourne garage. The Bus would be transferred the next day

They have been here for around a month and a half, but these E300s have appeared on the route a few times here is 27575 (GX58 GKF) working the 5A

E200 36902 (GN13 HHT) also former Loop picks up for a route 5 trip

Doubles get used on the route as well not just Singles Scania 15543 (GN59 EWS) works the 5A.

Another Scania now here we have 28608 (GN61 EVM) working a 5A having just come off the 56
A small selection of handpicked photos of the 2 routes and I will continue to photograph both of the routes.

Another spot for Bus photos

The town centre is a nightmare at the moment for photos with most of the main Bus interchange closed off for works. So I've found another spot where I can photograph Buses. The spot will remain a mystery for the time being. This isn't the main interchange and there's still some Stagecoach in Eastbourne routes which serve the area. They're the Loop, 1,1A,1X,55 and 56. E300s can be seen working the 1/1A, E400s on the Loop, the 1X with its E200s with the exception of the 36901 which are all former Loop and the 55 and 56 which use different types of Buses.

Here is some of the routes I've photographed down there the Buses featured in fleet number order are:
15545 (GN59 EWU)
19650 (SP60 DTN)
19653 (SP60 DPV)
27518 (GX06 DYY)
27574 (GX58 GKE)
27576 (GX58 GKG)
28608 (GN61 EVM)
36908 (GN13 HHZ)

E300 27574 goes down a hill whilst working the 1A

Here's 27574 again

ADL TransBus E300 27518 picks up

E400 19650 picks up whilst working the Anti-Clockwise orbit of the Loop
Scania E400 15545 picks up on the 1

Scania E300 28608 picks up whilst working the 1

It's former Loop on its now allocated route the 1X E200 36908 picks up before going back to the town centre

It's a Loop paradise Loop branded E400s 19653 and 19659 pick up on both sides of the Loop

E300 27576 also picks up

An tribute to the Euro 3 Enviro400s

A good few years of old Enviro400 operation came to an end on the East Sussex Coast last weekend. When 19019 (MX06 XAU), 19048 (MX56 FRR) and 19049 (MX56 FRU) all departed for new lives elsewhere. I was really upset as I really liked those old Enviro400s all it is now Double wise is the boring 60 plate ADL Enviro400s and the boring Scania Enviro400s.

Sadly, I haven't been able to get more recent photos of 19048 and 19049 so i'm using my last photos I've got of them. However, I've managed to get an photo of 19019 on its last day in service in East Sussex.

First up we have 19019 (MX06 XAU) after it recently received an new engine after its other one blew which caused its problem. It is seen before working an 51 on its last day in service in Sussex.

19019 MX06 XAU is seen before working an 51 the E200 behind still remains at Eastbourne
This has to be my all time favourite of the old Enviro400s 19049 (MX56 FRU) works an 55 after coming off an 51 in July 2017 just under an week before the timetable changes.
19049 MX56 FRU works the 55
Now we have 19048 (MX56 FRR) this Enviro400 was also amazing it's seen working the 56 to Langney Shops
19048 MX56 FRR works the 56
I wasn't happy to find out they had gone it was the same with the ALX400s when they went last year they will be missed.

Departures and transfers

Sunday the 3rd of September there was an reshuffle of Buses within the Stagecoach South East division. This led to departures and arrivals of existing fleet. In this post I will be showing 2 Buses that have transferred out taken on the 2nd September on their last day in Eastbourne service. Later on, I will be showing some familiar additions as well which have transferred down to rejoin an East Sussex fleet.

First up we have Enviro200 36900 (GN13 HHR) what once was an regular Bus on the Loop is now gone from Eastbourne along with 36898 and 36899. 36901/2/3/4/5/6/7/8 all remain. Here is 36900 working an 5A on its last day in service on the East Sussex Coast.

E200 36900 (GN13 HHR) works the 5A on its last day in service on the Sussex Coast.
Another departure (An separate post will be soon done for this) were the Euro 3 Ex Manchester Enviro400s. Re-engine 19019 (MX06 XAU) appears on its last day in Eastbourne service on the 51.
E400 19019 (MX06 XAU) works the 51 the day before transfer
I would really like to welcome back half of the GX58 Enviro300s 27571/2/3/4/5/6 (GX58 GKA/C/D/E/F/G). These Enviro300s left back in 2015 to go to Dover in exchange for the TransBus ones. Those 6 have now come back after 2 years of not being on the Sussex Coast. Infact they are allocated to their old 1/1A route.
ADL Enviro300 27574 (GX58 GKE) is seen in Langney.

Here we have 27573 (GX58 GKD) in the same part of Eastbourne
